Uchendu welcomes the visitors, shares his lineage, and tells a cautionary tale about Abame. Offers a portion of the Evil Forest to the missionaries for a church site. Uchendu, the eldest kinsman, breaks the kola nut, offers prayers for health, children and kinship, and warns the younger generation.
