Appears as the second attacker in the toilet, speaking with the same nasal voice as on the phone, confirming his role in Woland’s troupe. Woland’s checkered assistant who introduces himself as the “gent’s assistant”, steals Rimsky’s watch, and uses magical phrases like “Ein, zwei, drei!”. Admits sending the telegram about Berlioz’s death and points at the cat; displays emotional breakdown. Koroviev, now in formal attire with a monocle, guides Margarita to become hostess of the ball and explains the tradition and the fifth dimension. Koroviev continuously advises Margarita, guides her through the ball, whispers and chants “delighted”, introduces guests, and holds her arm during the chaos.
